CO2 Offset App – UI Illustrations
“Earth Sweet Earth” is a fictive app helping us take care of our wonderful home, the Planet Earth. Its concept is about making small changes in our daily habits so that we can improve our impact on the environment. Earth Sweet Earth serves as a companion on a journey towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
The app is intuitive, user-friendly and promotes a positive attitude through improving everyday habits. It’s about progress and not perfection. It’s about setting standards for a positive change.
To visually support “Earth Sweet Earth” and make it more engaging, I created a series of minimalistic illustrations. Our planet is now a beating heart, or a fragile item to be taken care of and protected. Riding a bike creates infinite loops of zero emissions, and all the unavoidable ones are traceable like a bar code—so that we can offset them. In order to promote an open debate and communication, we can speak out about climate change and help each other take action.
The animated illustrations are giving the app an extra spark and bringing its design to life.
