I worked as UI Designer for the relaunch of the “National Climate Initiative” website for the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) while I was still employed at ]init[ AG.

The scope of the project was to create an informational website which would incite German citizens and organisations to take action on climate protection. To achieve this goal, we introduced intuitive navigation and an appealing display of information related to climate protection projects. Furthermore, we employed elements of storytelling, along with emotive copy and imagery. Finally, we created illustrations to give the website a unique and personal touch, while still maintaining an institutional and serious tone.

We used different colours to speak to four different target groups, and created individual illustrations to represent each group.
