I worked as a UI Designer for the design of the Wathiq app while I was still employed at ]init[ AG. The scope of the project was to design a product that could provide a safe transportation system for children going to school in Abu Dhabi. The product included different versions of a native app (one for the parents, one for the nannies) and a web app (for schools). The product is bilingual, working both in Arabic and English. 

I joined the project near the beginning, during an initial development phase. Some elements and design patterns were already defined; I contributed by designing the first drafts of the logo, designing new mobile screens, expanding the icon set and creating the first screens of the web app interface. 

The design team consisted of me and another colleague of mine, an art director at init, who was also the coordinator of the project within the design team.
